Welcome to Our Crochet Blogging Journey

Hi and welcome to my very first blog post! My name is Cindy Gonzalez and I am the creator of Fresh Cut Yarn, a small but mighty crochet business. While this business is relatively new, my love for crocheting started way back when my mother was creating a pink and white blanket for me when I was 7 years old. Watching her create such a beautiful blanket with her hands, yarn, and a crochet hook really made an impression on me. So much so that I was determined to sit right next to her and create a fashion show ready dress for my Barbie. Now... did it end up looking more like Barbie being attacked by yarn instead of a trendy dress... yes... but the intention was there.

Fastforward to today, where I have a new crochet business and with any business, you learn A LOT a long the way. There are things I wish I have learned earlier on my journey and other things that should be shared with you. The goal of this blog is to have you to learn from my mistakes, learn fun tips/tricks, create fun crochet projects together, and share our love of yarn! I am super excited to be on this journey together and I hope you are too!
